Forklift Training

The Forklift Training Course is conducted on-site at your business premises, providing a convenient option for your team. Nevertheless, we also extend the option of training at our dedicated centers in London. We recommend on-site training for pivot steer trucks, as it offers companies and their candidates a superior understanding of their working environment, leading to fewer incidents involving newly certified operators.

The training commences in a classroom setting, focusing initially on health and safety presentations and other essential topics. Approximately 20% of the allocated training time is dedicated to Associated Knowledge. It goes beyond mere driving skills; candidates are expected to demonstrate their understanding of the theoretical aspects surrounding forklift trucks through a presentation and video session. The subsequent practical part and assessment require a designated room for the theory segment and some empty pallets for hands-on training.

Upon successful completion, candidates are awarded a training certificate from an accredited body that remains valid indefinitely - either RTITB BRITTOp. We also offer in-house training certificates. We do not issue a FORKLIFT LICENCE; THERE IS NO SUCH THING - THAT IS A MYTH.
It is recommended that operators undergo a refresher course every three years. There is no legal requirement to issue certificates of basic training, but they provide evidence that operators have received relevant training and achieved an appropriate level of operating ability.

Our refresher course, typically a one-day program, is designed to comply with UK regulations and meet insurance standards. Choosing this option ensures that your operators stay well-versed in the latest safety protocols, contributing to a secure and proficient work environment.
